Voltabox represented at the leading international trade fair CES for the first time - with a focus on e-mobility mass markets

- Presentation of especially high-performance and lightweight starter batteries for use in premium motorcycles and motorsports

- New smartphone app for monitoring live data and actively adjusting the performance parameters of the starter batteries

- Lithium-ion battery packs for intelligent, in-frame pedelec and e-bike applications from Voltabox

- Shared booth with parent company paragon

Delbrück, Germany, December 17, 2018 - Voltabox [ISIN DE000A2E4LE9] will be represented as a presenter for the first time at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada, from January 8 to 11, 2019. The CES is among the largest and most important industry trade fairs in the world for consumer electronics and innovations in electronics. In addition to its exceptional lithium-ion battery technology, Voltabox will also present innovative e-drives. The company will be represented together with its parent company paragon at booth 9432 in the North Hall (LVCC).

Voltabox is active with its operating segment Voltaforce in select mass markets. For example, with its starter batteries, the quickly growing company has become an important single-source partner for BMW Motorrad. Because of their significantly lower weight compared to batteries with traditional lead acid cells, lithium-ion starter batteries are increasingly in demand with end consumers. At the CES, the Voltabox starter batteries - which have an outstanding starting capacity and additionally require no maintenance - can be seen in 5Ah and 10Ah versions.

And the new Voltabox smartphone app offers entirely new possibilities for monitoring the battery state - functions that will be shown live in connection with the battery for the first time at the trade fair. The application offers the ability to monitor and accordingly analyze many categories of live data from the starter battery. In addition, Voltabox will present a 25Ah motorsports battery, for which there is a relevant market, particularly in North America.

Moreover, for the first time Voltabox will publicly present various battery systems for pedelecs and e-bikes that have been added to its service portfolio since the takeover of ACCURATE Smart Battery Systems, which occurred several weeks ago. The batteries are lightweight, powerful and aesthetically beautiful and can be easily integrated into the bicycle frame. Visitors will have a chance to be impressed by these batteries and the electric powertrain on-site, with a pedelec.

In addition, at the CES Voltabox will show central components of its own modular battery system. They are available, among other things, in various voltages, with integrated cell module controller (CMC), and with differing thermal management. The modular kit from Voltabox thereby offers all cell chemistries such as LPF, NMC, LTO and NCA in all usual cell formats.

The CES is one of the most important industry trade fairs for consumer electronics in B2B and B2C business worldwide and takes place in the Las Vegas Convention Center. Its areas of focus include, among other things, high performance batteries and e-drives.

Jürgen Pampel (Chief Executive Officer), Manfred Schmidt (Vice President Sales) and Wolf Müller (CEO Voltabox of North America, Inc.) will represent the Voltabox Group at the CES and be available to speak with interested visitors to the trade fair.
